New direction: Madeleine Glatz

Cameroon born model, Madeleine Glatz has quit her post as Miss West Africa International-UK. Madeleine was crowned Miss West Africa International-UK, in Novemeber 2010 but has resigned citing problems regarding restrictions in her contract.

Madeleine posted a note online, entitled “Breach of Agreement with Miss West Africa” and it read as follows

Hey Everyone,

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who supported me, for all the nice comments and lovely messages.

I want you to know that I no longer hold the title of Miss West Africa UK 2010 because of restrictions in my contract.

But no worries, nothing is more beautiful than feeling free and supported in yours projects and ideas.

So, the documentary is still under works and my modelling as well, because they had no links to the organization Miss West Africa ltd, I must say.

Many thanks again for your understanding and stay tuned because nothing will stop :)!

Madeleine xx

We have not yet established what restrictions Madeleine was under, with Miss West Africa ltd. However, we can confirm that Madeleine’s profile on the Miss West Africa International Website has already been replaced with that of 20 year old Bissau-Guinean, Astride Costa, who was first runner-up in last year’s contest. The Portugal born student lists Down Syndrome as her charitable concern and says she likes singing, shopping, designing and shopping with a smile.

Meanwhile, if you are q fan of Madeleine Glatz, you need to check out her new pictures at Fashion Mist runway. She is spotting a new look, with a fresh hairstyle. She normally wears short afro hair but was wearing neat corn rows, and this went well with all the dresses and jewelery she wore on the runway.
