R.W.A.N.D.A Days: Fuse ODG

Revolutionary young artist, Fuse ODG is continuing to ride on the wave of success following the eruption of his mega-singles Azonto and Antenna. The Ghana-UK artist was yesterday featured in an in-depth article on MTV-Iggy. MTV Iggy, like MTV, MTV Base and others, is a division of Viacom Media Networks. It’s focuses on bringing cutting-edge global music and pop-culture to the U.S. With Fuse’s Music having conquered Africa and Europe, it can not be doubted that Fuse’s next desired conquest is the US market.

In Europe, Fuse managed to bring Afrobeatz to the mainstream pop-charts and high street pubs and clubs. This is an achievement that has not been reached by many African and Non-African artists in years, apart from D’Banj with Oliver Twist.

Among other things, the MTV Iggy article covered Fuse’s upcoming album, This Is New Africa, which is acronym-ed TINA. The article also describes how Fuse ended up going into Afrobeatz and how he ended up recording his big singles. To read the story and learn more interesting things about Fuse, click here.
