Reggie ‘N’ Bollie Through To The X-Factor Finals

X-Factor UK Finalists: Reggie 'N' Bollie

X-Factor UK Finalists: Reggie ‘N’ Bollie

After holding their own in the competition and having their position never being seen as under threat all through the live shows, Reggie and Bollie are now through to the final of the X-Factor UK show. The second act of Ghanaian origin to make such an achievement but obviously the first of their kind in terms of musical style and presentation. Fleur East did it in 2014, and even flew-in her Ghanaian grandfather from the motherland, to witness the final, only to turn out as first runner-up. Well, this year we are talking about Reggie ‘N’ Bollie. Their progression seemed under threat after they performed “Locked Away” by R.City featuring Adam Levine as their first semi final song on Saturday, to Simon Cowell and other judges’ strong disapproval. They later influenced Simon and colleagues to have a change of heart when they performed a mash-up of Black Eyed Peas’ “I Got A Feeling” and Reel 2 Reel’s “I Like To Move It”. The performance was full of the energy the duo is synonymous with and off course it also wowed the crowd.

Tonight’s show saw  Reggie ‘N’ Bollie getting the first call to stay in the final alongside Louisa Johnson and Ché Chesterman (who beat Lauren Murray in the sing-off). We really wish the boys all the best in the final next weekend.
